Remember that sketch well, was and still is so funny. I think he became a household name overnight in the 70's coz of that show.

I played with a drummer who had Mr Preview as conductor who told me a wonderful story.

The band played a waltz and at the end some stuck up bitch came to say the piece was too fast (yet she had danced to it)

He replied "Madam, (silght pause) that piece was 2 minutes and 25 seconds as composed by xxxx" as he thrust a stopwatch in her face that said 2 mins and 26 seconds.

He said the whole dance hall was in hysterics because of the way he said it and she left.:lol:

Now THAT was the mark of a very talented man.
