It looks like the bike was a big magnet and lots of bits got stuck to it as it was riding around.

Ugly as f!$%. And the GSA looks like a hippo head on.

But a great bike to ride. Not quite as good as 'straight' GS, but good, nonetheless

Ah but they do or did manufacture the R1200 GS Triple Black and guess who has a minter sat in his garage still under the BMW Motorrad extended warranty until May this year that will shortly be parting it out (ooo I've gone all American) in readiness for my new bike :tongueout:

Looks like they just emptied the parts bin and bolted the parts together.

Think I know why those parts were in the bin too.

I do not mind "unstraight" people as long as we do not become too close...

Really ? 30

They normally struggle to get a full face lid in the OE one

What top box has it got fitted ?

/media/file/135433.aspx

The GSA Triple Black in the photo isn't the actual bike you have bought though is it ?

The one in the photo is not a UK spec bike :smirk:

I always though the 2016 model year had the 2/3rds left hand flat plate brake adjustment and not the 5mm fine reverse cylindrical thread with an oscillating lynch pin.

Correct me if im wrong...

The only problem with keyless is the way your blood runs cold and the feeling of terror wells when you pull into a filling station in southern France and the filler cap won't open... :speechless:

Ok, here's a question.

How come the GS sells by the bucket load, yet the R has all the same tech, looks vaguely normal, yet sells nothing by comparison ? 01

I suppose it's still the Ewan & Charlie effect Rob

I've ridden a stock R and the R Sport version and both are great bikes

To be honest. The R will do everything the GS will do with the exception of hard off road
