Eye patch worked for me 40 years ago when I got a squint in a fatal (to my driver) car crash.
Head posture can be a big help too though it is hard on your neck muscles if the posture is at all severe.
Fairly quickly got a set of prism strip glasses which was much better. The prism strip thing was cut with scissors from a flexible plastic sheet and stuck on to my lenses, changed every few weeks as I recovered for a while.
Early days I had horizontal strips on one eye and vertical on the other.
I went back to work with the prism specks, office and instrumentation lab work, and I coped OK.
After things stopped improving by themselves I had 2 lots of squint surgery and things are almost as good as new now, though I have to be a bit careful about head posture.

You will come through this.

How about an audiobook then? I trust you don't have double hearing too (now would that be like an echo40). :tongueout:

I'd check your covering the correct eye then. :smirk::lol:

Not as daft as it sounds...
Double vision usually means one eye is not turning in it's socket as it should.
Cover the bad eye and you will find it easier to read and follow things BUT the injured eye will not be encouraged to get back to strength.
Medics will likely tell you to cover the good eye and work the bad one as that is better for eventual recovery.
