Has anyone been to the Olympic park (Queen Elizabeth stadium) on a motorcycle? Going next week web site says don't ride (or drive) as no parking and just use public transport , but that takes forever and I've got to be up ungodly early next day, is there really nowhere to park

Wouldn't fancy parking any bike in the smoke these days! It won't be there when you get back!

Try contacting Westfield at Stratford. They advertise secure car parking:

https://secure-parking.co.uk/find-parkin...

Newham council have a couple of bike spaces in a multi storey car park:

https://www.newham.gov.uk/Pages/Services...

There are probably bike bays in streets around the park. It might work better to park somewhere secure nearby and get the train or the tube for the last part of the journey.

I've only been there by public transport or pushbike.

The car parks at Canary Wharf are secure, have left various bikes overnight, particularly on level 2 or 3, not the main bike stand on level 1.

Some of the bays also have a ground anchor fitted.

Is just 4 stops along the Jubilee line from Stratford, and is £2.90 per day.

The no parking/public transport mantra is just eco-bollox. I was there in the car last weekend and there is a huuuuge (and quite empty) car park right next door in the Westfield Centre. I don't know if they have specific bike parking but it's pay on exit so you could just leave your bike in a car space.
