Off for a mini Tour even......

Going with the missus to look at the Eden Project in Cornwall, going to go via the Cheddar Gorge. Not planned further than that, we only booked a B&B for tomorrow so will see what happens after that, taken 5 days off.:grin:

The bike better run OK now the weedkiller is out of it.:blush:

I like the Eden Project and I like Cheddar Gorge. The village of Cheddar at the bottom makes an interesting stop/

Enjoy :thumbup::thumbup:

The Eden Project is good, we visited it when it first opened up.

As for the Cheddar gorge its OK but it does get very busy & touristy and the gorge is only 200-300 metres of interesting stuff but worthwhile if you have never been. Go visit the caves if you have time.

The Lost Gardens of Heligan are OK, too. They aren't far from the Eden Project:

Got back by lunchtime today. Dead luck with the weather ( the sun shines on the righteous :smirk: ), enjoyed the Eden Project, I would recommend it for a visit for those you haven't been there.:smile:

Sampled the pasties and cream teas, no complaints. We stayed in a small cove (Charlestown), it's where some of Poldark was made, although I didn't know that before visiting, being I don't watch that sort of s!$%e, :smirk: but the missus recognised it.
We stumbled across an outdoor cooking stall that did great grub and had a girl singing & playing the guitar, she was really good. Sometimes unplanned evenings are just great. We went there a couple of times. :smile:

Then headed to the north coast and through Minehead to Bridgewater, the A39 between them, what a stonking road!:grin: Ground the footrests a few times. :thumbup:
