Noticed some slippage on the Tona on the way home from work today around 7-8k in 5th when nailing it.

Anyone have anything kicking about in their spares pile?

What year, also. Can put stronger springs in and use silkolene semi synthetic. Works well in mine, castrol and Mobil 1 fully synthetic made my clutch slip and gearbox clunky

2001.

Not sure its the oil as I have the same stuff in the 675. Not even sure its a worn clutch. Adjusted the cable earlier as there was no free play in the lever. Not had a chance to test it yet. It would lift the front without slip in first but from 7k in 5th would slip .

OK well I have loads of t595 clutches about, strip yours down and have a look but ide suggest, unless you can see its knackered. Change springs to heavy duty and put silkolene semi in it.
