that things have advanced since Tony Martin defended his property..?
To be fair though in this case the would-be burglar actually died by his own screwdriver rather than someone else's illegally-held shotgun. I mean, who goes to try and burgle a house armed with a screwdriver..? :speechless::speechless:

The difference is that Tony Martin shot a burglar in the back as he was fleeing (although to an extent I can't blame him after he'd been burgled countless times & the police didn't seem to take things too seriously). Common sense prevails for once in this case

Even more similarities turn up ........... the person who died as a result of the attempted burglary was allegedly a pikey, just like those who broke into Tony Martin's house years ago.

That's a bit harsh, tearing them down. Mind you whoever put them up should have known better.

We have been victims of burglary and i have also had my motorbike stolen, the police think it could have been related to an incident where my 24 year old son witnessed an attempted murder and was a witness in court, it turned out the defendants were travellers, my son is still getting repercussions now and is unable to go for nights out.

Another one of these cliques of criminals the police can't/won't do anything about . They flout the law and have utter contempt for anyone not part of their community .

If the Gypo's want somewhere to live, we should build camps for them.

Camps with "Work Makes You Free" written above the gates and nice shower blocks.

I see that tensions are high in the area with "well wisher" of the deceased leaving flowers and s!$% on the fence opposite to where he was killed and then someone is coming around later on and taking them down. "Friends" of the deceased are now patrolling the area in cars to try and stop them from being taken down.

He lived by the screwdriver, he died by the screwdriver....

They didn't drill it into him to behave, maybe a tap on the head might have worked...

I remember a landowner who called the c!$%s who'd invaded her small holding 'pikeys' and was promptly arrested for alleged racism. Our police forces, now run by young, liberal managers, never fails to impress with the collective speed with which they arrest and charge the unduly wronged. There was a happy ending however when several trespassing caravans mysteriously caught fire and the police were unable find the perpetrator/s - the travellers subsequently moved on. Result.

Local Iceland store had some of the caravan club members in. They stripped a whole shelf of all the Easter eggs. When a member of staff tried to stop them, they were told to F off or they would be sprayed with acid.
Time these sort of crimes and this part of society were given long custodial sentences.
Should be turfed of public and private property within hours or cars and caravans crushed. Any damage and rubbish left should be charged for by seizing vehicles.
