Off the line it charges like a Rhino :thumbup::thumbup:

I think I will need another seat

Might as well get the new Speedmaster , it's basically a bobber with a pillion seat (sort of)

I like these but are expensive. I reckon all new bikes should have the option of no electronics. That would bring the price down quite a bit I should imagine

I'll give you £510 each for them so you'll make a little profit.

I've been out on the Bobber again this afternoon enjoying this lovely weather and I must say, I am very impressed 49

Off the lights it goes like a scalded cat and will sit comfortably at 80ish

According to the dash log the average mpg over the first 1800 miles has been 68.9mpg 30

I won a set of Genuine Triumph ape hanger bars complete with electrics on e-bay earlier this week for £107

Salty is going to be busy

Thruxton (09->)

icon07 Apr 2018 06:24
I took the Bobber out last year, before deciding to go for the Thruxton. It was pouring down and freezing cold but I loved it. Plenty of ooomph and sounded good in standard form too.

The only reason I didn't go for one was the lack of pillion seat. Saying that, the Thruxton was a surprise. I expected it to be really uncomfortable, but it's not half bad and has the same sort of grunt.

I do still fancy a Bobber though

I'm getting 58mpg average

The bobber is nice enough and goes well considering its looks, but I do feel Triumph forgot to add something to the offside of the front wheel. Not something that should be sacrificed for 'style' imho.

Do you catch the number plate on left hand corners NnF ? It's easy enough to ground the pipes as it is.

The 'missing' disc isn't an issue (for me) I know some people have said it's under braked but again, having ridden a T100 I think it's fine

Side mounted plate isn't an issue either as it's mounted quite high up

For those that want it the bobber black has the correct number of brake discs :tongueout: which is fine if you like black.

It's also got a 16 inch front wheel, DRL & cruise control but it's another £1000 over the stock Bobber
