How much further south Eddie?

There is a place west of Grenoblé, the owner is a biker that is fantastic. I will be there in July for the third time. It is more than b&b + evening meal.

People come back here year after year after year, for one reason. Jean-Francious, his wife and team look after you.:thumbup:

Campanile Lyon Sud or Formula 1 Lyon Sud - If you don't mind the cheapo, basic French'chain' hotels/B&Bs and are just looking for a bed for the night with no frills?

I've not used those specific ones, but have found their other hotels OK and inexpensive.

If you can keep going to Orange and will be on a bike, the hotel St Jean, near the amphitheatre, was run by a motorcyclist who let us park in the courtyard behind the hotel. (This was about 20 years ago!).
