It matters not one jot, the overpaid, overrated bunch of racists and rapists will fall apart like a cheap watch when it actually matters.

The cricketers are the same.

Fine when playing "Hit and Giggle", but go wibble at the airport when asked to play the proper game.

I don't understand why folk still watch football. Long gone are the days when it meant something, when you could take pride safe in the knowledge your countries players were playing for pride and patriotism. It's always been a business but there was always a sense of sport. These days you may as well go to the city of London and sit behind some stocks traders and watch them for 90 mins. Nothing and I mean nothing is more important than the money stolen from the so called fans.

Sorry if it's a bit negative but IMO footbal is crap these days:sad:

My son put it in a nutshell, he said 'Why would working class people want to watch millionaires kick a ball?' Sort of sums it up and I didn't have an answer.

Even worse, why would working class people (although the guerment (sic) told me there was no class distinction now....) PAY to watch millionaires prance about on a field and fall over if someone else comes within 10 yards (or metres if you prefer) of them and rolls on the ground near death? Then gets up and runs around a bit more after free kick awarded?
