1994 Suzuki RF 900
One owner bike
Full service history
Turn key ready to enjoy
Very clean ,minor nicks and scratches from normal usage
New tires
New chain and sprocket
....65k on the clocks
He’s asking $1900..I feel that a little high
Is 65k a lot of miles on an air cooled lump???

It is if the rads missing:speechless:

Not air cooled anyway. but does seem slightly high but depends on how its been looked after.Equates to about £1100 so would offer £800-900 max ($1200)

LMAOF..my memory is going ..I could have sworn they were air cooled :lol:
That’s what I was figuring offer him 1k....nobody wants a bike that old and most people stateside won’t touch a bike with over 20k on the clocks

I would have said about a grand. I sold my clean 89 CBR1000F for £1300 with 64k on the clocks.

A vastly underrated, if ugly, bike.

Coming from Glossop, you should appreciate an ugly bike!:speechless:

Just reading a thread elsewhere about some sort of endurance record held by the RF900 which Suzuki tried to better with Hayabusas and due to breakdowns they failed. Apparently a very underrated bike.

They used the water-cooled GSXR 1100 engine, sleeved down in order to compete with the FireBlade (which it didn't!).

Typically bomb proof Suzuki, with a "distinctive" design (especially the "Starship Enterprise" rear light cluster).

Solid sports tourer in plain colours, though also suffered from Suzuki's typically 90's "shell suit" graphics.

I had one and it was a great bike, comfortable and fast, very underrated, get rid of the stock end can as this weighs a ton and stops it breathing properly. The only problem I had was that it didn't like the rain and I tried and tried to waterproof the electrics but it always dropped on to 3 cylinders intermittently when it rained, always carried wd40 to sort it.
