My 2005 Rocket 3 would do 20 miles less per tankful in cold weather and my 2012 Explorer display about 6mpg less on the dash.

Car journeys in my 2.0 petrol Audi during the recent cold break car gave me about 4mpg less than normal (36mpg down from 40mpg normal "driving like a nun" mode).

I assume this would be the same for diesel cars?

I thought that too because my gallons were down but then I reasoned that my miles were down too. My calculator couldn't work out 0/0.

Nope, my diesel 2 ltr Audi does 50-60 mpg on a 20 mile cold commute (according to the readout):tongueout:

Maybe we will be permitted to buy petrol by the gallon after Brexit, then MPG would be something that could be calculated.43
