launching the new Speed Triple S and RS. They look just like the old Speed Triple. In fact you could put a Yamaha badge on the tank and it would not look out of place. I know I've not been here for a while but whatever happened!

It can't help but look better than an MT-10

And by the time the Yamaha's stopped every 15 minutes for fuel, the S3's probably quicker too :smirk:

As Blizz always used to say to me when I complained about the newer bikes

Cor, you're not kidding. I've just compared the figures:-

MT-10 - 8l/100km, 185g/km CO2
S3 - 5.2l/100km, 119g/km CO2

Why do you need cruise control on a Speed Triple? Standard equipment on the new bike :smirk::smirk:

What I will say is it does prove its worth on the car when driving through the variable speed limit areas on the M4.

I dislike cruise intensely in dense traffic, which is the norm when the variable limits are lit. On a sparsely populated motorway it's great. But when do you get that in the UK?

Me too, it’s great but I’d like to have a go with adaptive cruise. That should help with the busy motorways

Me too & in our middle age crisis Volvo. The thing that f!$%s me off though is when you've set cruise there are tossers who overtake you, pull in, then slow down, what the f!$%'s that all about? :frown: But then, as mentioned, that's where adaptive cruise is useful if you've got it.

Cruise control is great for pissing people off in 30 and 40 limits.
And vital for motorways

Had it on my previous Golf, really good. Make sure you get one which goes down all the way to stopped (auto only of course) otherwise not even half as useful.

“'The most powerful and responsive Speed Triple ever, and the best sounding
A major development to the 1050 cc Triple engine, with 105 new engine parts
More power (150 PS) and more torque (117 Nm)
More Triumph Triple character by revving harder and spinning up faster
New freer-flowing silencer for improved exhaust sound
Arrow sports silencers fitted as standard on the Speed Triple RS”

105 new engine parts.....too many to go wrong now if you ask me :lol::lol::lol::lol::drink:

re the engine, that was pretty much what was claimed for the 2016 model, apart from the PS figure

100+ new parts, spins up faster, freer flowing exhaust
