Years ago I was approaching a traffic island when an old box truck crossing in front of me suddenly let go with a bang and bits of cast iron and bearing caps scattered on the road from under the engine bay.
Surprisingly, or perhaps not, no trace of oil accompanied the broken bits onto the road.

Ha ha ha  had a old astray years ago, scrap man was on his way for it so I held the throttle down full, while my brother poured a bottle of petrol in the carb. Not as spectacular as that video, but one piston was stuck on the radiator and some bits of con rod stuck in the bonnet, oh and lots and lots of dirty old oil everywhere.
