Speed Triple T509

26 Dec 2017 20:01
Just picked up a '98 T509 with 56k (!!!), but she looks to be in decent shape. Roulette Green, flyscreen, Triumph off-road exhaust, and frame sliders - so somebody who owned her was an enthusiast!

I'm a machinist and mechanic by trade, and I owned/modded/crashed/repaired/sold/& have missed dearly an '05 1050 in Neon Blue for a few years.

It's strange that once the borrowed rear wheel nut socket came back to me, that this T509 literally fell in my lap.

She's currently torn down to frame & mill, because if I'm going to put her back on the street she'll need to be ready for another 50k! Started a restoration thread over at TheSpeedTriple.com if any are interested: http://www.thespeedtriple.com/forum/spee...
