Daytona 955i (04-06)

Hi im wondering if you can help me the information above is fantastic thank you.

I have just got a 2000 Daytona with a blown engine for a project i have a 1050 engine to fit in it and all the electrics i need so all should be good in that respect.

my question is about wheels

I have a set of 2006 sprint st 1050 wheels the rear fits no problem but the front, although it has the right size bearings for the spindle and the right sized brake discs when i fit it it seems to have a 5mm gap between the right spacer and the fork leg, does this mean i need a longer spacer? or should it fit?

It is also possible the fork leg is bent (as this is a crash damaged bike) this is why i ask if someone knows if it should fit with no mods.

any help greatly appreciated thank you.
