Andy Holmes:
All good on air leak front....
Dropped the coil sticks on from my bike and it has gone away...so looks like the coil stick(s) are faulty..tested the resistance and altho its out of spec 1.8 ohms ( book say 0.8- 1.2) it measures the same as mine....

So...........
Are the coil sticks the same across the 1050 range?
Does the ND number on top denote a different typoe....can find stick with 129700-4250 & 129700-5220....are these different?

Alt......who has a spare one or 2?

It might be just a slight design change from one coil stick to another , which accounts to the different part number , but it may be an internal modification possibly giving a better/higher output voltage for better spark .
Had a look on Fowlers , around £100 . All models the same part number (except new R ) but have a superceded number above so potentially any will fit .
Check it out Andy
