Solenoid constantly clicking while the button is pressed.
Once the starter motor is connected by the solenoid the system voltage drops so low that the solenoid drops out, then the system voltage recovers - repeat while button is held.

Either the starter motor is passing way more current than it should or, more likely, the battery internal resistance is way up.

Maintenence free sealed batteries can and do dry out, especialy if left on a tender for long periods.
