thank you nick

the bike had been "rebuilt" with an obvious ebay / china CV type carb , and would not run , I tried a vm22 from my sinnis (3 of carbs) , I get the impression that the genuine suzuki has bigger valves etc (inlet tract is bigger , when I try a vm22 , she just dies untill I reduce to 1/4 throttle , as if she is drowning in fuel but not enough air

those GNs seem to have been fitted with different carbs over the yrs , a blacktop and a silvertop are the common ones , however they have different inlet sizes , silver is about 32/33 black is about 37mm

which carb have you got , can you remember if it was a runner , and lastly to save me buying more s!$% from ebay china , that dont work , please can I have it ,

I will gladly pay your postage costs

thanks
alan
