Speed Triple 1050

03 Dec 2016 19:10
If you look at the triumph part numbers the speed triple uses the same rods as the late Daytona. The rev limits of 10900 on the Daytona are roughly the same piston speed of the 9700 rev limit on the s3. So if I stay with the single cam change from the Daytona I'll use forged pistons 80mm with standard rods but limit max revs to 9900. Alain has given me a programme to extend the rev limit on my ecu to 11000 but at the moment I haven't figured out how to fuel to get max from the double cam swap. If I do then it's forged pistons and rods as you've detailed.

Thanks

Rob
