yup, lightweight rods and pistons lets it spin up faster and more than the old design. Safe to 11.250rpm some reckon....shame triumph didn't carry on in the sportsbike market till the little 675...

Mind you that configuration was developed outside of Triumph R&D (955i) I believe.
