I'm new on this forum and I'd like to say a huge thanks to D'Ecosse for a great recommendation!

After three years on my 2003 Daytona, I found this thread a couple of weeks ago, and today I fitted the Rizoma Sportline grips. They are good quality, look great and (with the larger 4 stroke cam installed) they have made the bike come alive.

For anyone considering this upgrade, I'd highly recommend it. I was lucky that I had enough cable adjustment available above the bars, so installation took 10 minutes. The difference riding the bike is not extreme or dangerous as someone suggested, but the throttle is now beautifully responsive. The bike feels so much sharper and alive.

Nissin 5/8 Master cylinder on order, so soon I'll be able to stop the bugger too!!

Great forum, thanks for all the tips.
