How to tag a member fileThis tutorial shows you how to tag member files with words, members and bikes. IntroductionOne of the problems with media files is that it is very difficult to search the file as the content is not text. Triumph Torque allows members to tag media files uploaded by other members, making it easier to search and find files. Adding Tag WordsClick the "Add Tags" link in the media file information box (to the right of the media file). This will ask you for the words you wish to tag the file with. Simply type the words you wish to use and click the "Add Tag" button. When more than one member tags a file, and they share common tags; the most used tags are shown in a larger font to the rest of the tags. This helps to demonstrate the importance of some tags over the others. Tagging MembersIf the media file features a certain member, you can tag the file with that person. The benefit of this is that you can then easily find media files featuring that person. This function is still pending. Tagging BikesIf the media file features a particular model, you can tag the file with that model. The benefit of this is that you can then easily find media files containing that model. This function is still pending. |
