News IndexTriumph announce new Trophy
On board there is room for such solutions as ride by wire, traction control, cruise control, ABS and Dynamic Triumph Luggage System. For your convenience, the glass is electronically adjustable from 16.4cm. It also has a memory of your last setting when you start the bike and quickly lands in the same position. The adjustable saddle height is between 800 and 820mm. The SE version will include an audio system with Bluetooth, USB Compatible with iPod and MP3 player. In addition, a tyre pressure sensor and an electronically adjustable suspension from WP. The rider will have a choice of settings: Sport, Normal and Comfort. The new model undoubtedly enriches the already wide range of models from Triumph, bringing back into the stable the well respected Trophy range. However, it seems that the Hinckley brand is increasingly being modeled on BMW with the recent release of the Tiger Explorer (aka R1200GS) and now the new Trophey aimed squarely at the R1200RT. Is Triumph getting tired of their commitment and philosophy to develop truly unique motorcycles that offer a blend of distinctive design, intuitive handling and performance? Only time will tell with the two other model announces expected this year. The Triumph Trophy and Trophy SE is likely to be available from October 2012 in the colors, Pacific Blue and Lunar Silver.
