It started life as a convertible. The roof is chopped and shortened,its about 6 inches shorter than a stock one to give it a coupe look.The stock roof should finish just at the boot hinges. The chassis is chanelled about 3 inches and the front sits on a transverse leaf spring HA van front axle. The front wings and front panel are welded into one piece. There are no inner wings as it sits on a scratch built chassis.
Never dragged it mate. It was a street car. Used to do york raceway and the pod. My mate ran a ford prefect with a 350 chevy small block hooked up to a munchie 4 speed and 2 stage nitrous. We used to run mid to high 11's.Not bad as it was a street car too. I did own a mustang 390GT notch back that ran 11's.
