Having hammered home for tonight (but staying tomorrow) I can report that Riggsy and Narna are like a couple of red lobsters, the turnout is excellent, the food is ......err..........well, it is and I've lent my tent to Roadkill who had better not christen it by cracking one off.

It is so far generally good humoured and there's been no fights yet

Oh, and Ducatiman has got a tent that is gayer than Liberace in a pink frock with a sparkling candelabra up his jacksie.

Not for me unfortunately RM 28, still, better a couple of hours tonight than nothing at all.
Having said that, although i only had 30 miles or so ride home, i left about ten and had one of the best rides this year. The cross country roads were lovely and empty, the temperature was perfect and the bike just seemed to float along.
Almost bleedin' perfect. 0149

Just got back from Scropton and all's well.
Bar is still open and everyone is in good spirits. It's bloody frightening just how much Viking and AB look alike to the point I don't think Tigger is sure which one is which.
Pub has sold out of cider and over 44 gallons of Lager have been consumed tonight so fresh supplies coming in tomorrow, even the burger van was open til 11.30.
Tomorrow is expected to be even bigger with live music, a few more faces turning up plus around 70-80 locals so should be a cracker49

LOADS more people there than I was expecting, what a fantastic turn out. Really good to meet everyone again and a lot of people for the first time [Viking clearly gets the 'distance award'!] - although shame I'm not there tonight also, as unfortunately I'm pretty certain I didn't meet everyone (not properly at any rate) :-(

[Hope I didn't wake anyone up this morning leaving - was running behind schedule a little and had to f!$% off sharpish]

What an excellent evening - cheers all - have a really great one tonight!! 490151

Dropped in at the Foresters for a couple of hours this evening.

I asked if Riggsy was about and was told he made a night of it yesterday and was sleeping it off! At 6 in the evening?
When he emerged he certainly looked like he was getting over something... I nearly had to fight him for the last burger bun but reinforcements arrived in the nick of time.

Lots of people wearing shirts with their site names on to help with identification - I spotted BL from the other side of the pub garden - no-one else would wear THAT shirt.

I left just as the band were setting up and had a good ride home on very quiet roads and comfortable temperatures.

I just love the way that the kids slide cunningly exits straight into a Suzuki! 20

There is the odd Trumpy there - "odd" being defined as a gay yellow TBS parked at the back 03\1703
