Hi guys my T595 as started leak fuel from the fuel coulings that are connected to the fuel tank, ive a O ring kit with about 60 different sized O rings & not one of them fit/work

phone my local "Ish" triumph dealer Phil Youles & they dont sell the O rings i have to buy the complete push fit coupling X2 at £12.00 each plus gordon browns cut which i think is just plain daft because theres nothing wrong with the 2 fittings other than both O rings need replacing 09 any help on this would be great cheers peeps 49

search the threads for Colder Products - or just look for fuel couplings ....

this site may help - the o-rings have to be Vitron apparently ....

Might be too late now, but I'm sure I bought the seals seperately from my local Trumpy dealer.

ANY triumph dealer that tells you you can't buy the seals seperately needs reporting to triumph.

This is a safety issue FFS1313

Rick, I'd kick up a right stink at your local(ish) dealer if I was you04

You should be able to get theses off the shelf from ANY bearing factors, why you'd want to go to a Triumph Dealer is beyond me

Cheers for all the advice

Rec reason i phoned triumph is because ive a box of 60 + O rings all assorted sizes/thickness the lot & not one would seal, they fit fine to the ally couplings but wouldnt seal the fuel in @ all,
so i thought it"d be a so called "Special" O ring lol from the dealers, must admit i did give them a piece of my mind before putting phone down in a kind way27 all is sorted & sealed now,,,,was on phone tutha day to Jack Lillys for another reason & whilst speaking to one of the guys in workshop i asked about these expensive O ring seals & he said yeah we replace them from time to time
"The O Rings That Is" 49
anyway go got to crack on with summat abit more pressing

some say 7/11
i say 7/12 verrrry soon to be 1216 36

Don't forget they must be fuel tolerant, some 'o' rings may not be.

Be aware that if like me you own a Dayto 995i from 2004, you need to order the 3/8 male parts fro Tom-Parker - the cLCD230-06V, the 1/4 MALE parts were too small for my petrol pipes on the injector ramp.

The female parts that go in the tank are correctly stated above i.e. the cLCD100040V
