After puncture last week bike was towed home. I didn't have socket to take the wheel off myself so ordered tyre from these people who came round to fit it:

Not as cheap as Micheldever, but price difference is acceptable considering tyre is being fitted at your location.

You could've borrowed my socket if you'd only asked 27

Bloody hell - I'd happily pay more than that to have someone come round to fit my tyres.

As a self-employed chappie I absolutely HATE the amount of time it takes.

Had my front 2CT replaced at Alf's in Worthing last week, and even though they got me in first thing (cheers Nigel), including riding and waiting time it still took three hours out of my working day.

Which is worth.... err... at least £15.75...

Right - I'm off to search for one in this area...

For comparison I think the cost of a Michelin Pilot Power all in was £144.

That's slightly more than Micheldever, and slightly less than I was charged at Destination Triumph last month (won't be getting my tyres from them again).

Fair price for the service I reckon...

I had ths guy out today for a new pair on my Trophy. Not the cheapest but not the most expesive either. Did a really good job and takes care - even fitted the angled tyre valves the right way so i can check the pressures when the bike is on its side stand.
