I'm about to eBay my 955i High Level Race Can and checked out the part number on Triumph's site prior creating a listing with a view to listing compatible Triumph models.

However, the part number A9600120 does not seem to appear anywhere on Triumph's website under 955i accessories and a Google search came back with nothing of any substance.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Hy mate (sorry) try jacklilley.com, from my calculations that can is a h/l c/f for a 02 - 04 S3. The h/l c/f pipe for yours is listed as part no. A9608047. I don't spose theres a huge amount of difference, then again I am a complete mechanical clutz06 There was a thread on here that 'exposed' the construction of this supposedly carbon fibre can! Unless its under £150 or you def want a Triumph item I'd look elsewhere... thats my 2p's worth anyway.

Ben thanks for your input. I'm actually just about to sell the can on eBay, but am unable to find out what it is compatible with bike-wise as the part number doesn't seem to tie-up to any Triumph models on their website. 09

When I list it on eBay it would be nice to know which bikes it will fit!

I solved the same puzzle recently:

What Triumph don't let on is that they also sell 'just the can' (A9600120). I ran a check on the part number with Triumph and it is compatible with both the 98-01 and 02-04 bikes when the correct link pipe is used (the can is identical). Triumph still supply the 02-04 link pipe for £25 (A9600044).

If your ebay surfing for a 'bargain' the following part numbers may help for high level carbon pipes:

A9608000 (S3 98-01)
A9600109 (S3 02-04)
A9600120 (S3 'can only')
A9600044 (S3 02-04 link pipe for above can)

The S3 98-01 link pipe is no longer available from Triumph, I have a spare one on ebay at the moment!
