bought a case of sol beers for a night in. Makes great company, doesn't answer back, lets me choose whats on telly etc But I just can't drink it without a slice of lime in the top. Does that make me a handbag carrying, stocking wearing weirdo? You know - the sort of guy that puts "product" in my hair, and buys different belts to accessorize my trousers properly?

In my books YES! It has to be draught bitter - anything expensive. Or the sort of stuff that makes going to the loo the morning an experience that usually requires a midwife.

If you think YOU'RE a poof, I'll openly admit to hating all lagers, bitters and stouts. Used to love them all, then one day I realised how piss-like they are. And no I don't fancy men!

nooooo thanks! but I have tried a 'depth charge' - where u take a port plus glass and slowly drop entire thing into a pint of genius surprisingly nice at first but just the one thanks!...
Mal Lancashire, United Kingdom Posts: 26390 Daytona 955i (02) 13 Oct 2005 08:36
Dunsop Bridge is the dead centre of the UK .... so there (no .. it's not a cemetery)
Tony Law Cheshire, United Kingdom Posts: 151 Enthusiast 13 Oct 2005 09:11
When I was in the mob, we used to have a Barman in the mess who made the perfect depth charge. He was that good at it we never let him go back to proper soldiering
Cerberus Connecticut, USA Posts: 5119 Enthusiast 14 Oct 2005 03:45
we have a drink called an irish car bomb.. a shot of bailey's irish creme dropped slowly into a pint of guiness. much more palatable than port I would think.. piledriver..
