hi i ride a street triple 675 on 07/08 plate & want to change my original bars to renthal braced bars if any 1 can advise in doing this ie do i need new brake/clutch lines /risers & where best to buy these if need be many thanks bazz

Are they a lot higher/wider ?

If not then it should be a simple swap

hello not sure yet as havnt bought them untill i had some input off here i was just going to buy standard offroad braced bars from mounters jst outside cardiff & thanks for looking at post

you should be able to get the rise and pull back of the new bars and compare that with the current ones to see how much of a difference there is

cheers m8 found tht the central clamp dimensions mst start bend at 150 as can't put switch gear on will keep lookin 4 rite bars thanks 4 input

Off road Renthals are all far too wide and, as you found out, often don't have space for switchgear.

I'm assuming you have a regular Street, not an R? If you want the braced look without fitting problems buy a set of Renthal Ultra Lows and a crossbrace, or Renthal Streetfighter bars (these come with a brace and are a little higher and straighter than Ultra Lows, they look like a narrower motocross bar).

What colour are you after? I have a brand new red pair of ultra lows and two new crossbraces (one black, one grey) in my mountain of things I really should get sold.

Those are Ultra Lows, the crossbrace just bolts on if desired.
