I own a 1997 adventurer , and happy with it . just bought a nice big "slab side" america 111 windscreen , and fitting is progfressing well , is there an angle that a big screen should be fitted at , to reduce drag?

ok , but the screen is level with the h/lamp rim at the bottom , and about 1/8th away from the clocks at the top , the clocks are a few inches behind the h/lamp

the screen is an alternative to this

that's gonna smart like f!$% if he slips off!!!!!!!

the angle of dangle is inversely proportional to the heat of the meat.

360 miles covered on the bike today , just musing along and trying to clear my head (father thread) ,about 46 to the gallon , but was cloggin on , bike is stable at about 95 ish and happy , over 105 gets ropey , buts thats prob me , wierd fieling? when you shut off from 60 + you get like a sucking, on your back sucking or pushing I don,t know , almost like a vacumn ,

was out on the t595 yesterday , 40 miles = "x" mins and a sore back , today "x" mins - 7 , same run , and was a happy bunny with warm hands and no flys in my face , yup the t595 can do 50 mph more , but prefer the adventurer

ps , my yamaha tmax (500cc) can do this run in "x" - 10 mins , with a max of 100 mph , but auto cluth and box says it never drops below 80 , and with its "diamond" frame and swinging arm suspension handles better than both the trumpets

that pushing feeling is the turbulence that you were leaving behind you catching up and you'll probably find that it sort of overtakes you as you drop towards 40 and makes yer head wiggle a bit......

personally i love being in that soundless bubble at "x" mph when the noise of the 'zorst is left behind and all you can hear is the airbox roar accompanied by every mechanical noise from the engine...... my idea of heaven!!
