Word of warning - watch out for said tossers on narrow back roads - was out for quick ride just local to me and fti4x4 decided that he is entitled to all the road, doesn't need to slow or move, just barrel through the (tight) gap. Visions of another stay in hospital, lots of my best swearing and getting really effing angry after scooting through the gravel at the kerbs edge and then chill...i'm still here w*nker. Anyway, rant over, but be safe - thats very nearly 2 head ons in the last 2 rides due to cars just bullying on...and trust me it aint good if you make contact!!!

- I experience similar most days going into the 'village' ... last 500m of road afore reaching the shops is a veritable chicane of parked cars ... yesterday a pratt in a Volvo Estate just kept coming, and despite me trying to block him, mounted the pavement and asked if I had a problem ...
Frankly I now expect everyone I meet on the road, whether in car or on bike, to be, at the very least, a w!$%er if not a prize c!$%. Manners don't seem to exist anymore.

I drive a 4x4 but try to drive with courtesy and consideration for others to make up for other bellendy 4x4 drivers. Somehow I think I`ve got my work cut out...
The shame is Dan that most people on the road today are totally selfish - I always believe in common courtesy first and foremost but sadly road rage is often the result for no apparent reason.
there are a few small back lanes near my house and there are loads of 4x4's that do that.... mostly driven by mums who've just dropped the kids off at the local primary school.... they are feckin' nutters and really need to have those bloody tanks taken away from them.... the joke is a lot of them live within walking distance of the bloody school....
