Weather permitting (and getting out of work on time for a change), I could make this (hopefully, probably, various caveats etc lol).

if they can cram a burger van in one and tell me where it's parked - I'd meet there too

:thumbup::thumbup:

Like rain and snow presumbaly?

Normally just FB, Obee and I go.

FB coz it's his only rides of the year and he likes to see if the police will arrest him and do another strip search.

Obee, so he can show how many bikes he has in his collection, compared to us mere mortals :frown::smirk::smirk::lol::lol:

We normally meet near the church in the village centre - although Obee has been known to be found peering into ladies underwear shops :smirk::smirk:

Not sure about the Dedham meet, as I'm not sure what time I'll get away. Will try though

I've just had a look at the map (essex is a scary place!) and Dedham is a bit out of my way, so I'll hopefully meet you at GB.

For recognition purposes, I'll be the largish bearded bloke wearing black and riding a bike.

Hmm, maybe a bit mor info  Said bike is a blue explorer with PXC as part of the reg.

A few miscreants here for your perusal:smirk:.......:tongueout:

Media File

In the picture, Dengie, DocW, FB and Ratster - Beardy missed out as he shot off to buy himself a sat nav somewhere in the sea of bikes.30:thumbup:

A new record turn out for us Angles of the East bohs, wait for it - 6, yes an unbelieveable figure. Had spirited ride home following Ratster then me and FB branched off on to the A137 for some twisty stuff back to Ippers and beyond.

A future meeting, of sorts, was arranged by Ratster, to include curry and fish 'n chips.

I discovered when I got home that my rucksack is not ahem 130+mph proof  the outer pocket zips had come undone and I lost my sunglasses (only a cheap pair) and my work memory stick  luckily it was backed up though and is security protected  I only discovered it when i went to fill up with fuel on the way home, luckily there at the bottom of the pocket lay my wallet! phew :pirate:

s!$% Jon that was close:sad: - done it myself on the daytona when going home one evening when I lived the other side of Fram - lost new jeans, wallet, mobile, £140 pair of walking boots, £20 cash I'd just taken out but worst of all an irreplaceable small b&w photo of mum and dad when they were just married. Only good news was, by a miracle, I managed to find my walking boots the next day.

Ever since that happened to me I always do up the zips to one side at the bottom and not the top. That was my error and combined with ton+ slipstream it plays havoc with the rucksack - even then there's no guarantee the zips won't rip anyway, so I put my hand behind my back to check regularly that all is still ok and at every stop.

ps. Did you see that knob on a bike overtake me, in a 30mph limit, on a blind bend, over double white lines, into oncoming traffic?30:frown: I presume he did the same to you?

Anyway, despite your rucksack probs it was a good ride home that alternate route:thumbup: - few rozzers about to.:smirk:
