Larry - fancy meeting Obee and I in Dedham between 6:15 and 6:30?
Dedham at 6:15 it is... Btw, how was the curry night...
Larry had a superb curry thanks.
Ratboy1050: Larry - don't go there
We're planning another one in 2030 if you're free?
see you all tomorrow.
I wonder if the Police burger van will be out Rich?
You buying John?
Note to self...new rule for Eastern Bohs: All future meets, rideouts, rallys etc. etc. MUST BE CASUALLY ARRANGED IN LESS THAN 15 POSTS MAXIMUM.Any divergence from this rule will instantly void any chance of the arrangement being a sucess in any way, shape nor form.
In the picture, Dengie, DocW, FB and Ratster - Beardy missed out as he shot off to buy himself a sat nav somewhere in the sea of bikes.
A new record turn out for us Angles of the East bohs, wait for it - 6, yes an unbelieveable figure. Had spirited ride home following Ratster then me and FB branched off on to the A137 for some twisty stuff back to Ippers and beyond.
A future meeting, of sorts, was arranged by Ratster, to include curry and fish 'n chips.
Ratboy1050: Twas a miracle we all found each other
anyway, good to meet Paul and Andrew - and Larry made a long trip for the visit!
24th June - mark the date everyone - a ride and a ......
Likewise - a miraculous (? spelling) turn out!! Cheers,
Andrew.
Beardy: t'was quite amusing that 5 of us parked next to each other, didn't see each other until after I'd had some chips
For us lot it was all the more remarkable that suddenly there you both were - we must've looked suspiciously like TTers! Was good to see you all and add 2 new names to faces.

I concur, was good to meet up
Quote: ps Paul, hope you're happy with the new satnav?
I hope so as well, considering what its costing me Not got it yet, but hopefully will have it fitted next week sometime
I discovered when I got home that my rucksack is not ahem 130+mph proof the outer pocket zips had come undone and I lost my sunglasses (only a cheap pair) and my work memory stick luckily it was backed up though and is security protected I only discovered it when i went to fill up with fuel on the way home, luckily there at the bottom of the pocket lay my wallet! phew

s!$% Jon that was close - done it myself on the daytona when going home one evening when I lived the other side of Fram - lost new jeans, wallet, mobile, £140 pair of walking boots, £20 cash I'd just taken out but worst of all an irreplaceable small b&w photo of mum and dad when they were just married. Only good news was, by a miracle, I managed to find my walking boots the next day.
Ever since that happened to me I always do up the zips to one side at the bottom and not the top. That was my error and combined with ton+ slipstream it plays havoc with the rucksack - even then there's no guarantee the zips won't rip anyway, so I put my hand behind my back to check regularly that all is still ok and at every stop.
ps. Did you see that knob on a bike overtake me, in a 30mph limit, on a blind bend, over double white lines, into oncoming traffic? I presume he did the same to you?
Anyway, despite your rucksack probs it was a good ride home that alternate route - few rozzers about to.
