How common. The only part worth mentioning is Hampstead, where everyone of any worth comes from.

Do you mean you don't come from there? And I have spoken to you, face to face as well. I shall have to bring my man along

Dare I ask what for?
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 05 Apr 2012 11:46
In order to communicate. I can't be seen talking to common people.

Shame, central London is a poohole & a no go zone for me. Otherwise I was maybe going to pop up there & buy you a cuppa.
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 05 Apr 2012 12:10
Why would that be then MV? Just don't like the place? If it's any consolation I hate it as well. Getting the train to Paddington Saturday morning (treated myself to 1st Class ) and should be on my way home by about 11.30am hopefully With my shiney new steed...
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 05 Apr 2012 12:13
Nige, I absolutely loathe the place. I won't even go there to see bands any more. Are you getting excited yet?
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 05 Apr 2012 12:14
I'm trying not to get excited TBH but finding myself wishing today and tomorrow would f!$% off sharpish out of the way
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 05 Apr 2012 12:16
I bet. I'm really pleased for you. I know you fancied a new bike. I hope it's as good as it's supposed to be. If you're even half as pleased with it as I am with mine, then you'll be a very happy bunny.
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 05 Apr 2012 12:23
I'm very happy with my new one. Here's a picture of it............................

Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 06 Apr 2012 11:36
How much?? Cheap satnav. £50.00, w/p holder, £20.00 Job done. Mind you, the new SatNavs are f!$%ing awesome with what they do compared to my old 2004 one
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 06 Apr 2012 11:41
The Mutlistrada is pre-wired for one Already fitted into the loom is a connector that is shrink wrapped under the N/S front fairing. I'm going to explore the options for a bike specific one with mount, some clever bugger is manufacturing a replacement top clamp that has a tapped hole to take a ball mount
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 06 Apr 2012 11:54
ooooh. More sponds. The trusty Navman will have to suffice for me.
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 06 Apr 2012 12:10
I have a pretty recent TomTom unit with a waterproof case. Problem is, they have engineered them so they will only charge in the cradle
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 06 Apr 2012 12:18
Just fitted my satnav. Not pretty, but functional. Would this work for you Nige? http://www.telferizer.com/ I just use ram mounts.

Saved over £200 plus I got a radiator guard as part of the deal! Fingers crossed I win that full Termi exhaust system that ends in a couple of hours... Apparently they are rather loud
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 06 Apr 2012 13:02
f!$%ing hell Nige. By the time you've finished buying that lot you could've got a fully kitted out Explorer & an 800 to go in the topbox.
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 06 Apr 2012 13:02

I reckon by the time I'm done it will stand me a nice new compact family car Still, nav, rad guard, touring screen and (if I win it) the Termi exhaust are pretty much all I wanted. It's all your fault MV, you were the one who said JFDI all the time Oh, and a top box but that can wait until the end of the month
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 06 Apr 2012 13:13
There's no pockets in a shroud JFDI & enjoy life while you can.
