I need to remove the left hand bar grip from my 99 'tona - how easily do they come off and are there any tricks?

This works, providing it hasn't been superglued on. Thin bladed screwdriver and WD40. Work the screwdriver round the inside of the grip, twisting as you go. It'll slide right off. degrease the inside of the grip with carb cleaner. Re glue using super hold hairspray

long thin screwdriver , or i use a long allen key , lift the edge and spray mens deoderant , and start turning the driver/allen key around , slide further till it goes all the way and beaks the seal , simply pull off then , deoderant will evaporate , use deoderant on the grip0 and bars to slide back on

That Aldi offer is a generic Chinese job - the outlet 'tree' is made of low grade (really, really low grade) alloy - rubbish, in fact. Good news is you can build an excellent replacement tree with BSPT bits from BSS & Machine Mart for a few quid.

Take off the bar and soak in warm soapy water for an hour. Pulls straight off
