After owning my Speedmaster for about 2 years I have just fitted the stock silencers that came with it in lieu of the short TORs that were fitted when I bought the bike. So nothing for Ken to bitch about when I took it to Spongate for an MoT. While I had the spanners out I fitted new pads and stainless retaining pins in the rear brake and cleaned up the pistons. Less than an hour to do the lot. Comfortable working outdoors and we are in the third week of November... Can't help thinking we will pay for this unseasonable warm weather sometime soon.

Used to take my Sprint there, quite some years ago, until I got glass in my tyres from a broken bottle in the road out the back.
Use a local guy now and he takes a sensible approach to silencers. Owns bikes himself and he remarked if you think yours are loud (which they are!) you want to listen to those on my old Triumph! Top man.
