I caught that - didn't notice it was on in advance. Shame we aren't going a week earlier.

There was a reason, but I forget what now. 3 weeks later it's the Waterloo event as well.

You ain't getting a Tiger, it's against the law. Must admit I saw a kitted out 800 and it looks very nice, and if that's anything to go by.......................
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 13 Nov 2011 20:55
I am Only a few months to wait I love the look of the 800. It just needed to be man-sized, which I'm hoping the 1200 will be.
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 13 Nov 2011 21:01
Didn't you hear there has been a recall already? They need to be strengthened so that fat bastards can sit on them. Of course some of us may be waiting for the proper man-sized big-f!$%-off-tanked version.

Why did you sell the Tiger?
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 13 Nov 2011 22:22
Cos there is a new 1200, the c!$%ybastard has ordered one.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 14 Nov 2011 07:19
I sold it because I have little willpower & the new Tiger looks so fookin gorgeous. Allegedly the Adventurer version will be out next year

Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 14 Nov 2011 12:19
It is a lot of money, but there's no pockets on a shroud
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 14 Nov 2011 13:31
They also do it in Black, as well as that nice blue.

Mmmmm It's looking less likely that I will bf able to afford a busa. So I'm looking to replace the small lump of plastic in front of the rad with a fan
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 14 Nov 2011 21:38
I thought you were really wealthy, what with owning your own nuclear power plant
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 14 Nov 2011 21:42
He can afford one for every day of the week. More if he sold that old man's car.
Depth Charge Ethel Chi, United Kingdom Posts: 4,100 Daytona T595 15 Nov 2011 08:52
Gentlemen One's austerity measures are already biting quite hard I'll have you know. Three Filipino maids and two man servants have already been let go. It's getting cold on the streets I'm telling you... Especially after I had the local children's home removed to accommodate my new swimming pool extension.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 15 Nov 2011 09:34
It's getting cold on the streets I'm telling you That's because without the three Filipino maids and two man servants you can't dress yourself

Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 22 Nov 2011 14:07
He'll probably: Make up his mind to come the day before, after I've cancelled the hotels. Forget which day it is and have to employ another secretary. Forget his bike. There will aslo be a small WW1 trip next year too.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 22 Nov 2011 15:28
We need more tours. I'll have a bike I need to justify
Phill Pig Hill, United Kingdom Posts: 20,125 Daytona T595 22 Nov 2011 17:54
You never need to justify having a bike. It's like breathing, you just do.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 22 Nov 2011 18:21
Good thinking Phill
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 22 Nov 2011 18:35

Depth Charge Ethel Chi, United Kingdom Posts: 4,100 Daytona T595 27 Nov 2011 21:08
After taking off fairing I noted that the fan blades were not as bad as I suspected. Whilst I bought a fan from eBay , frankly I can't be arsed to strip out the radiator for minimal gain. So I'll leave alone.
I may though swop my bars around to the original position and raise them a tad with a riser.
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 27 Nov 2011 22:15
Get one of your secretaries to do it.
