Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 27 Jan 2012 08:30
Depends on what you believe. Some are saying they've been told they will definitely get their bike in March. I haven't been near my dealer for months so haven't a clue.

Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 12:27
YOu'll get that done by the 10th May. Which is before MV gets his bike
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 12:31
Ferk off poof. I'll have one soon & probably before you get yours
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 12:41
As in the Smiths' song. "How soon is now?"
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 13:59
Wouldn't listen to that dreary crap I shall have mine first, as mine is real & yours isn't.
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 14:05
You shall have yours before mine in the same way as you can eat just ONE burger.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 14:10
I shall have mine first because it is ordered & has a large deposit down on it.* You are still trying to decide which bike to go for if you can flog yours first * Depending on whether I fookin live long enough.
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 14:17
I have ordered my new bike, and I have sold my old one. Still got the Daytona though.

At least I have a back-up plan, do you?
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 16:32
Gladstone Screwer. It's being collected this week. Still don't have enough for the Explorer though, hence why I haven't ordered one.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 16:42
Well done. He's got a good bike there too Piss taking aside, it's a shame if you really can't get the 1200.
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 30 Jan 2012 16:45
maximus vegetatorus: At least I have a back-up plan, do you?
Yep, a loan and a new bike
Its Fret today once more: Gladstone Screwer. It's being collected this week.
Still don't have enough for the Explorer though, hence why I haven't ordered one.
So what are you getting then, the 800?
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 16:52
Nige, wanna borrow £11149? This could be my back-up http://www.jwg.co.uk/new_bike_detail.php...
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 30 Jan 2012 16:54
At zero APR and easy repayments, yes I don't like the Yam at all, it's pretty fugly IMHO.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 17:07
Nige, if I could I would If my numbers come up, I will
I still have my eye on the same R3 as I did in Oct/Nov too Should get a good deal on it now
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 17:59
The odd thing with the Yamaha is that it is pig ugly in the pics, but gorgeous in the flesh, although I've only ever seen the one in blue. The black one there loks more like a 955 Tiger as well, which is a good thing
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 18:21
One major downside is the awful projector headlights they fit to it though. Truly awful in the dark.

Is that the sound of furious backpeddling ?

They were both enemies in the last war, so both count. Nobody liked the nips anyway.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 20:02
It's not the 1940's you know
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 20:28
Are you sure about that? I'm staking out my towel on the Mohne Dam
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 20:32
I would expect that from a BMW rider
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 30 Jan 2012 20:47
I like the 800GS 30th anniversary, but it's a bit too gay for even me. That new 1200GS Dakar type one is also way too much.
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 30 Jan 2012 20:55
So it's definitely going to be one of those cheap & f!$%ing hideous KTMs then

That'll be a yes then
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 31 Jan 2012 23:06
Sounds like it doesn't it?
Twiggy Fuck off Bignose, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 19,370 Tiger Explorer 01 Feb 2012 09:17
I reckon so.
Fretmeister Moaning about bikes, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 61,571 Daytona Super III 01 Feb 2012 11:08
He hasn't even bought it yet, so how will he sell it?
Sir TT Church of 3 Saints, United Kingdom Premier Member Posts: 37,096 Enthusiast 01 Feb 2012 11:38
Some of the KTMs look rather nice IMHO...
