split/power-washed/regreased all rr sus linkages. (USING MY ABBA STAND... from other threads.)
i fitted some bearings last year that had seals actually built into the bearing, instead of being placed alongside, and these have worked really well.*
*for example, the bearings were full of grease not water and rust.
ooh, ooh, ooh.... nearly forgot. bought one of these.. arrives .. err.. later..
Fretty Merckx: Reversed the car slightly too far into the garage.
So why are you posting this on the "what did you do to your Triumph today?" Thread then? Unless, the result of reversing into your garage was you collided with your bikes?
No damage, just tapped the footrest on the Tiger, which set the alarm off, in turn knocking the Daytona, setting that alarm off too. Jeez 2 alarms in an enclosed garage make yer ears hurt.
I have a brick on the floor to let me know that the car is far enough back as I have about 3 inches front and back of clearance, but it must have moved when I was loading the band gear.

For the missus I used to hang a tennis ball from the ceiling of the garage and when it touched the screen it was "parked".
My last two girlfriends have both been good confident drivers, good at parking etc, maybe I attract them, lol. Both rode bikes too. Last one had a bigger bike than me. She was an inch taller too lol

its ok as long as she didnt have a bigger cock than you
Shuffled it our of the garage to go out on the Duke. Then put it back in again....noting in amazement as always how many flies are attracted to the yellow paint on the Daytona.
Just reading new PB mag when I got home, Kev Smith's have both cracked, but he seems to not have heard of it. Bet his email inbox will be full of fellow crackees in the morning, lol.
Quote: you can actually see when leaning the bike in the dark.
Which is a vast improvement on most lights on bikes as the road usually vanishes. Even the mighty Trophy struggled, especially when I had a duel with some form of Audi on the A34 late one night at silly speeds.
Only bike I've ever riddenwith acceptable lights was the 04 Mille I borrowed from work a few times. Instant daylight. Shame the rest of the bike was so s!$%. Worst lights were the 748S I had for a few months.
My first post on this board. Today I got round to stripping and greasing the rear hub, because it had finally seized. Cleaned and lubed the chain, cleaned rear caliper and replaced the back brake pads. Would have done the front pads as well but got dragged out for a bit of shopping. Tomorrow I'm spending the day with the one I love so I'll be doing the front brakes and fork oil then
Started both of mine today, duno why, force of habit I guess as starting them without riding them does more harm than good. Tiger started first press of the starter, Daytona took about 4 or 5 goes before it fired and then ticked over off the choke, so I guess that needs looking at.
