Coz what I thought would happen, did. My rad went to be welded - i broke it  - the welder had an accident so had to buy me a new one, waited all week to get a phonecall this morning saying the new one was here, only for hubby to collect it after work and point out they'd been sent a TT600 rad instead of an S4 one, they are different :frown:

So no point putting new battery on bike yet :frown:

Haven't seen them Phill, but there are those 1 way valve thingy-ma-jobbies that I may well have to invest in.

Thought I had some lever resistance earlier tonight, but I must have imagined it. Keep calm & carry on bleedin'.

Fired it up from stone cold and it ran fine... rode it to work and found it really weird after flying around on Gemma's SV650 for a couple of weeks!

Back to the bum up, head down position!

You've done the job back to front Skybone.

If you have bled the brakes with worn pads, when the new ones go in there will be an excess of fluid. Be careful.

Tim, if you get a white stripe put on with yellow, then I suggest getting a black or dark out line for the white stripe, otherwise it will look s!$%, imho.

Fitted the adjustable clutch lever from a ST1050 and repositioned the front mudguard which was too close to the tyre.

She gets a nice new pair of Diablo Corsa IIIs tomorrow then off to France for the MotoGP on Thursday evening 24

Went out for a spin in the pishing doon rain on old pads, to see if brakes were up to scratch after the last few days of pratting about. Got home, had a brew, washed the bike, fitted the new EBC HH pads. Rode it up & down the street and what a difference.

Took it out before, and those HH pads don't half make a difference!

Having ridden it a bit now, do you notice the longer wheelbase compared to the shorter swingarm on your old one?
