fitted new oil breather seal. What a pain in a. Hope it works ok as did not go in the best. I need to get a press one day. Fitted back rim, hugger and now getting tank ready to go back on and front carbon guard.

Not long now for sure

It wasn't from April to Halloween, default mood was very happy then, I was a very happy bunny, you wouldn't have recognised me.

It hadn't had the full valet I was promised. It hadn't had the thorough check over I'd been promised (no check at all I think - tyre pressures 8psi down, chain slack double what it should be, clutch lever play more than it should be, side stand in need of greasing - basic stuff that couldn't have been missed if it had been prepped before delivery, plus tank support and allen key missing from under seat).

Worst of all, someone had put a big scratch on the swingarm with a paddock stand (presumably when fitting the anodised rear brake reservoir - should've had both, but they didn't have the right front one in stock), then tried to cover it up with non matching black paint. They're saying the scratch was there before I put my deposit down, I know it wasn't.

Anyway, the dealership's owner came and collected it and has promised to put it right, so we'll see what happens. They offered to fit the Arrow system free too, but tbh I don't trust them to do it now.

Mine came back from the dealers supposedly fixed. Fitted the carbon exhaust heat shields that I got cheap. Rode it to my local mechanic who fitted my front and rear anodised brake resevoirs and then the bike played up again. Cutting out, over-revving and the management light on...so back to the dealers again sigh:sick:

Rob,

It might be time to hand it back to the dealer, requesting a complete re-fund as the the bike is not fit for purpose :frown:

Went for a spin, but decided to turn around when the feeling left my fingers, got home, had a brew (just to warm my fingers up of course), then washed the bike. Had another brew to warm fingers up again.

Fitted a 44T Renthal rear sprocket and a K&N filter:grin: Went for a short ride to try it out. Gearing seems about right for me 'n' the engines running very sweet...pulling cleanly from tickover in all gears, no sputtering or nuffink!:grin: Now for some new tyers...Avon Ultra 2's this time I think! The BT014's I fitted last year are already f!$%ed! Didn't like them much either:thumbdown:

Gave the rear light tabs 24 hours to set after aralditing them back on. Now fully cured, I re-fixed the rear light back in place. Bike now available for use should we get a change in the weather.
I may fix the carbon tax disk holder to the bike tomorrow and fit my M&P £14 special () twist off shiny fuel tank filler cap thingy.

Still have to fit my Scotoiler and finish the spare wheels with new bearings etc and new tires. That'll be the bike finished (I think)

Tim. I don't want the tailpiece, already spoke to Nige and I can't justify the cost when mine is now repaired and I replied elsewhere in here to you about the screens when you mentioned them the other day. I am away Thursday. You free Tuesday for a run out if the weather is ok or would you prefer to wait till I get home at the end of the month? Either is fine by me but the weather may be better going into March.
