I got them via Tim. Felt really nice, I had it on the lowest settings and riding the.bike feels so much more comfortable, especially as I have got bar risers too.

I saw that thread and wondered if they were some of those. I might need to do something with the Tiger I'm getting as I have some Motocross boots I'm going to use on that and the pegs may well need to go down an inch because of the depth of the sole on the boots.

I gave it a flogging through the mountains for 3 hours and came home. I cleaned and adjusted the chain and threw some Maxima chain wax at it.

The bike keeps getting stronger.

Don't waste your time, LED's are even worse in the early type analogue dash.

Instead, get four off 3w T10 bulbs and do swapsies so that you take 1x 3w T5 from the idiot lights and swap for the one in the speedo backlight. Suggest one you don't need often eg. high-beam. Then you have 3w bulbs in the backlight which are far better than 1.7w, not going to melt the dash like 5w "might" and don't have dark spots splashed around like LEDs do. If you want you can get a mixed pack of T5 LED colours and change eg. neutral, high beam, oil, lights for LED but the rest aren't compatible.

:thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown::thumbdown:

Take a look at my post (13 post up from yours), Ive just removed all my dash lights and replaced with LED's total cost £13 inc postage
the improvement is HUGE as you can see by the pics ive posted !!!! My dash has gone from a dim lit unreadable display to something i can eve read with a tinted visor at night time !Id urge everyone to change to the same LED's if your able to.

Take a look a this thread, http://www.triumphtorque.com/messageboar... it shows the LEDS used, Sizing specs and links where to get them from for both UK and USA

Phill it took less than 5 mins once the dash was off the bike, i did need to slightly file the pcb tabs for the wedge fitting by 1 / 2mm in order to put the new wedge leds for the idiot lights as the wedges on the led's are slightly different.

If i didnt need to do the tiny bit if filing it would have taken me 1 min to swap the bulbs over.

the filing doesnt damage the dash, your not cutting into any of the contacts at all and if you wanted to put the original bulbs back in (GOD KNOWS WHY YOU WOULD) you can

There's a misunderstanding here. LEDs in the analogue (T595) dash are rubbish. By all accounts they seem to be a good idea in the digital (later 955i) dash. The poster asking about it shows in his profile that he has a T509, so for him it would be a bad idea.

Hopefully now that's clear.

HAd the first oil change on the new bike, and clocked up 800 miles.

Also turned off the blue shift lights on the tacho. They are blinding when it's dark. Nice one Triumph.

I tried LED's in the Tiger 955 when I had the fairing off.
Made no difference at all. I'll just have to put up with the only major downside of Triumph's 2nd best ever bike.

Went to fit the new dog leg gear lever,.but had to get rid if the linkages.

Couldn't get the bloomin thing off then as I didn't have a spacer to go on the foot peg to replace the original lever and linkages I took a saw to the peg and cut the surplus to requirement gear lever off.

A bit of light filing and it's all good, just don't look too closely.
