Lubed chain last night, then tried to figure out the best way to fit a Triumph Fender Extender without having to drill any holes in the mudgaurd. Got some carpet tape, but frankly, it has all the gripping capacity of a wet fart...
Been down to Bevans Triumph in Cardiff to get the warranty recall done on the fuel couplings. Been out on the bike most of the day since, it never missed a beat. I am going to need a battery soon though as it seems to drop off after a few turns on the starter. Anyone recommend a reasonably cheap solution?
caution40: I like the bodywork on all the T595/955i models, it's the frame & wheels wot really does it for me Those curves ...
..............oh......oh..........oh......Pass the kleenex eh?
I know how you feel. It'll look even nicer with silver wheels and a clean stipped down arse end with undertray and tail tidy and small plate. (oooerrr missus I need more tissues)

Epoxy
Was thinking Epoxy.
spider13: a bit of araldite
Nipped to B&Q at lunch yesterday, and there's a confusing array of Epoxy's on the shelves. Loads that were "unsuitable for outdoor use", any specific brands/types/etc to look for?

I just use Araldite, I don't look for epoxy's just go straight for what I know, it also helps when the last one was free from work and it is the Araldite rapid (didn't even know they did one)
a_morti: I can't help thinking epoxy is not great for flexible plastic? Just drill some holes in it.
How much does your front mudguard flex then cos mine is sort of fixed to stop it flapping around.
Been out this morning as my lad forgot his money for college to pay for his term bus pass. Fecking kids. I must say I enjoyed the hour out though even though the roads were slightly moist.
I painted in the 20 fine scratches and polished the pillion 'hump' afterwards with cutting polish and then fitted a new Skidmarx double bubble screen, then fiddled with the preload on the front forks

Answers on a postcard to.....
I've used windscreen adhesive on my last two bikes. Sticks like sh*t and has flexibility. Held one on my Sprint for 9 years no problem - still is doing as far as I know.
Sorted the pipe this morning after an aborted run yesterday afternoon when we had a power cut - couldn't see a bloody thing so gave up but that delayed my rideout start today. Anyway it's done now and sounds truly stunning.
I collected mine from the bike shop and it wouldn't start, so had to get it started, then return later, after a nightmare push-start, to get another battery they charged through the day. Oh, and I lubed the new chain up nicely the first time I got it home, so once new batt is on tomorrow, it should be nice for a ride out. Rain withstanding. On the now to dilute my frustration!
Put the bike back together after doing the shims! Was about to synchronise the throttle bodies, but one of the fuel lines is too short.....It'll have to wait till I can get another lineOh' yeh, made a new tail tidy while the bike was apart......much nicer
