You know that's pretty easy to do at home with just a battery drill an a rivet gun, right?

I rewired the headlights yesterday and this evening. Looks brighter (didn't measure but looks better) and more importantly I don't have to live with the knowledge it was wired up in a stupid way with one on a relay an one through the switch.

Yup, but looking a the price a good pro charges(very reasonable) and my limited tools and non existent workshop, I didn't fancy all the messing about.

Road to bike night last night and got 2 giant posters of my bike for winning sport bike of the night in July. The posters are actual pictures of my bike taken that night.

Been out on mine. Abolutely unreal the difference between the 98 and 99 engines. The midrange stomp is so much harder. Got my knee down a few times and got the front end up more than a few times. f!$% I love this bike.

Got home, checked my oil (wahay), lubed the chain and give the bike a quick spritz and wipe over with maguiars quick detailer spray. Looking lush:thumbup:

Oh yeah and when turning (the stiff) rear wheel to lube the chain I just managed to notice that the bike had slid across the single side stand spiggot thingy and looked like it was ready to fall off it. Not a brilliant idea really are they?:frown:(quick tho)

Rode it @ 3x the speed limit:blush:

(more than 180 in a 60............not clever, but it's a bit of dyke with no houses, no junctions and there were no other people/vehicles to be seen)

"If you bust the speed limit wide open and there's no-one to see, have you actually exceeded the limit?"

(Provided you don't leave bits of the bike strewn over the road, that is :tongueout:)

I overtook a police car on the M4 with it. I noticed a flash of dayglo yellow nestling between a slow moving coach and lorry in the nearside lane. I looked at the speedo and it was hovering around 165mph. I didn't slow down. I hid it in my garage and sold it a week later :speechless:

Next job is to fit the undertray / tail tidy, strip/paint/polish the spare wheels, fit new tyres to them, and now a black screen.030303
