If it were mine, I'd have given it a wipe down while I was about it.

rockfordfuc_wit: ~Foil Boot~: KevRST: I got shorter bolts, but there is a big f!$%off gap at the top, bout 1/2 inch , and at the bottom it nearly touchs the frame FFS, and it's genuine Triumph part
Sounds like a wrong part to me!!! should go on easy and fit a treat
Yup it should!

Got to ride the Tiger 1050 - it's a hooligan bike or is it just me - I loved it after the initial shock of how high it is and how tall the sadle is - nearly got a nose bleed

This week : fitted new rear wheel bearings and a Corbin seat
The Corbin makes a big difference to the comfort......bliss
Took speedy for a good blast today, and pleased to say that the new bearings have made things much more stable

Fitted the front mudguard extender....Then got rid of the daughters sofa that had been brought back from Uni, it was taking up too much space in MY garage.

Cable tied the throttle cable back so it stays above the head and won't be too tight on right lock.
Ground the pin in the adjustable clutch down so it fits my stubby fingers.
Polished heel plates. Shiny. Are they bare alloy? The polish turned grey, which I don't/ didn't think it would on lacquer.
Phill Pig Hill, United Kingdom Posts: 20,131 Daytona T595 01 Aug 2010 17:21

I noticed the belly pan and upper fairing on the offside were also broken or were they broken from a previous drop?
Rusty Bolts Devon, United Kingdom Posts: 172 Daytona 955i (99-01) 01 Aug 2010 19:41
Fitted my new silicone IACV tubes hose thingys. Made absolutly no difference but that is okay as they look cool in blue. I also checked the balance of the TBs (no adjustment needed after 4k). Using the Dealer tool reset all things you can as well as dropped the idle CO down to 4% and checked all the other things. All seems well apart from regreasing the front brakes; it's all a bit boring really!

Got it out (oooooer ) and rode it this evening. Weren't hanging around either. God I love this bike. It lets me wheelie, get my knee down and stops with gusto. It just encourages craziness. (It also wallows a bit when you're on it tho, I think the suspension still needs fettling)

Maybe you need to go to specs savers
