"Oil is up 15% in 2012 and while current prices are well off the record high of $147 seen in 2008" Which proves how much the government is ripping us off seeing as how fuel prices are now MUCH higher than they were when oil was at it's peak in 2008 Its not just the government . we buy oil in dollars . the pound buys around 25% less dollars now than in 2008, therefore the oil will cost us 25% more
