I know this only from Sprint and the Rocket, but after a few kilometers, regulates the display again. In some cases, the tank had to driven once almost empty. Should be the display does not regulate again, then possibly, the programmer (Alain) can help you.

Others have suggested that i must be patient and eventually it may come back. I have extensively checked all the wiring, connectors, sender etc and it seems to be the ECU. Have you any experience of this or a possible solution? Thanks.
