Thanks to Nige and lcjohnny, I got some great/interesting info on tires & suspension work from those two. Did the step-by-step "Suspension Education Programme" and guess what?? After a couple hours of "putting on me lid and riding around a bit" and tweaking the damping (compression and rebound), the bike is much better-behaving on the road now. Even got some dirt-road work in, as my mate lives in a very rural area. Found out too, the S3 DOES NOT like 95 degree F weather at all. Didn't boil over, but it was a bit disconcerting to see the digital temp readout hovering around 220F+ degrees. Best to stay on the coast, I reckon.
