This is for when you have the wrong link pipe - specifically the Speed Triple link pipe on a Daytona. The symptoms of this are that you try to fit the can, but it is about 20mm too long for the holes to line up on the monting brackets. This is basically a design for a bracket with the mounting hole for the can 20mm further to the rear than standard. It saves forking out for the correct link pipe, or chopping your existing headers. It could also be easily modified so that it is an alternative to the standard Hi level TOR bracket.
I used 16mm bar billet aluminium. If you have access to a miling machine, or are more confident in your filing skill than I, you could round of the ends to make it look a little less like a school project!

NB: there is a mistake on the drawing - the dimension on the left hand side between the vertical centreline for the hole for the bracket on the can and the vertical edgeline should be 12mm, as it is on the right hand side on the drawing.
NB: This is for a 03 Daytona, i.e the 56mm dia link pipe. Not sure if this will fit the earlier models.
